Conclusion

This class has been like a fifteen week long WebQuest in which, week by week, I have worked to complete my task and move on to the next module; starting each week with an introduction to a new topic, an assignment of a task to perform, a specific process to follow, resources to use, an evaluation criteria displayed, and ultimately at the end of each module, a product or creation of my own.

From the constructivist perspective, I came into this class with my existing knowledge and was able to construct new meaning within myself, as a teacher, as I worked to complete the individual modules.  I was given the proper scaffolding that I needed to propel myself farther than I ever would have on my own.  And now as a result of my experience, I am changed for the better, and as a result I will be a better teacher for my students.

I come away from this course with valuable and exciting tools that will be used to stimulate and enhance learning, that will expose students to alternative methods of instruction and resources, and will reach all learner types found within my classroom.  I believe the work I have put into this course will be appreciated by my future students for years to come.

I hope that my projects will inspire new thoughts and fresh ideas for many others, as; many others have greatly inspired me.   Thanks!
